What is Traditional Thai Massage

Traditional Thai massage is an ancient healing therapy that originated in Thailand. The therapist uses their thumbs, hands and forearms techniques to apply moderate to release blockages in the muscles and stimulate the flow of blood and lymph throughout the body.

Stretching the legs and body can be incorporated into a massage to help relax muscles, reduce stress, improve blood circulation, to improve the flow of energy in the client’s body.

We don’t recommend to have a Traditional Thai Massage if you have high blood pressure, is pregnant, is sick, or has just had surgery.

What is the difference of Traditional Thai and Thai Oil Massage

Traditional Thai Massage is a dry massage, and Thai Oil Massage is a combination of traditional Thai massage and oil massage. These techniques help therapists to work on tight muscles easier than dry massage.

The oil application will make your skin look natural and healthy.

What do I wear during a massage?

For traditional Thai massage it is recommended to wear loose fitting or flowing clothing so that you are comfortable and loose enough to be able to move freely. Traditional Thai Massage involves lot of leg stretching, therefore, we provide a traditional thai pajama for clients.

However, for Thai oil massage or remedial massage as therapists will apply oil, therefore cloths will be removed, but clients must bring their own underwear, as therapists may not provide the treatment if clients don't bring their own underwear.
